"We might lose our roots"..... but what we want now to catch up with others and unite the world..... How are we supposed to do that with just a few BM articles on science and technology and countable textbooks of knowledge we can obtain in Malay language.. Yes, we have the so called great "DEWAN BAHASA DAN PUSTAKA" but how much has they contributed to our development of of nation's language??<br /> You might argue that Japan, France and other countries insist on using their own language... How ever do you know how much they suffer during national conferences....
